John is an awesome guy and more than fair in all transactions - selling or buying. I recently sold some silver to John, both US Mint and secondary market silver coins and one ounce silver pieces - very happy with valuations - once again more than fair. Also sold some silver currency - half dollars and quarters - John took the time to look through every coin and tell me which ones had greater value and paid out accordingly. I recently also bought some Morgan and Peace Dollars, and again his prices were very fair. I still have some more coin transactions to do, and rest assured I’m going back to his shop! I seldom take the time to write reviews, but I think John (A&D Gold and Silver) is an exceptional local business and I highly recommend him and his shop! 5 Stars for sure!

When my father died I had a variety of odds and ends— coins and jewelry and watches. John is extremely knowledgeable and transparent in his transactions- He explained why items had value or not and how any calculation was made. He is both friendly and fair.
